Dear Dr Mattu,

I am a first year registrar working in a tertiary referral center in an Aussie ED. Having been tuning in to your weekly case series, I found myself getting better at recognizing OME patterns and making timely calls to Cardiology for these patient's. Your project has definitely made a difference for the people who I had the privilege of treating. I am looking forward to another great year of learning and growth from you and your teaching style, and sincerely hope one day I can also send interesting ECGs to you.

With great appreciation

Brandon

This has been a staple in my emergency medical education since I was in medical school. ECG's were always so intimidating to me but you have taught them to me in a way that has made electrocardiography one of my favorite topics in EM. Not only that, but this has absolutely affected my clinical practice and has DEFINITELY saved some of my patients. In addition to my education and clinical practice, you inspire me to be a better teacher. I am currently in my medical education fellowship in Brooklyn and all I want to do is grow up to be as good of a teacher as you. Thank you for all you do for the medical education community!

Dr Mattu, your teaching has taken me from a scared intern who felt behind his peers at every EKG-related turn to a confident senior who relishes the opportunity to put together a challenging interpretation. Thank you for your dedication. I am a better physician because of you and I always look forward to spending 20 minutes in your tutelage every Monday.

Hy Amal.

I am David, from Austria and currently in a cardiology fellowship.

Since 2015 I am watching your videos on a regular basis and I have recommended your videos multiple times to friends and colleges.

Your way of teaching breaks down the modt complex ECGs and really improves patients care, especially mine.

Also my wife, a pediatrician, now is the expert on ECG in her department. All because of you.

Thank you for your time preparing these videos. I think this time is well spent. ;) We all can see you love making them and I love watching them.

Merry Christmas and a lot of good ECGs

I love hearing your voice every week and practicing my EKGs! It brings to me back to when I was a medical student with you. I still have my notes from your teaching sessions with me. Thank you for being so invested in the education of trainees like myself :) - Leslie

Dear Dr Amal, you turned me from ECG phobic into nerdy ECG lover! Also, as a Medical Education Fellow and Emergency Physician, I admire and shamelessly borrow from your education experience and style. I constantly quote something I learned from your ECGweeklies (and yup, I give you the credit) to my junior doctors and trainees, and ECG Weekly was certainly part of the reason I passed my fellowship exam. Thank you for what you do! Cheers from Australia, Mitzi

I am ED Reg at the RAH , I just want to say thank you Amal.

You made me love and enjoy signing ECG !

My nurses come to me to sign ECGs (at least 10 ECG per shift! May be more), I sign these ECG with joy and smile then I try tech these nurses some of what I learnt from you .

When I am done signing the ECG, I can see the happiness on nurses' face because I changed a routine ECG signing thing to teach something and even better work relationship experience.

Thank you for making me having good relationship with my nurses.

Thank you for cutting down the huge world of ecg interpretation down to the essential key points. This has helped me so much to become efficiently ecg reading during my time as a resident doctor for internal medicine. Hope to see much more content in the future! Many regards from Graz, Austria.

Hi Amal,

I've been listening to your ECG tutorials for many years. I started when I was a final year medical student after stumbling upon some free videos on an older website. I am currently an ED trainee towards end of my training. I feel your tutorials have played an important role in shaping the doctor I am today. I always recommend them to people who needs help with ECGs. I feel like you're an amazing teacher who is so talented - you simplify difficult concepts into something more palatable.

Thank you for this amazing initiative.

I wish you and your family a very merry Christmas.
